Love wine? How to make your own clean and hygienic wine at home

Wine is a kind of wine that many people like to drink. It is suitable for all kinds of large banquet occasions. How many of you know how to make wine? Let me tell you, wine making is actually very simple. With these steps, you can easily taste the wine you want to drink and you won’t have to rush to buy it. It’s clean and sanitary!

Step 1: Buy grapes
When choosing grapes, choose some ripe grapes, even if they are scattered. These grapes are easy to ferment and relatively inexpensive. Regular grapes, raisins, and milk can be used to make wine.

Step 2: Wash the grapes
It is very important to clean the grapes as the pesticide may remain on the skin of the grapes. It is best to wash the grapes one by one, rinsing them repeatedly with tap water, while removing any rotten grapes. Some people who like to clean their grapes prefer to make wine after peeling them, which is not impossible, but they lack some of the unique nutrients of the skins.

Step 3: Dry the grapes
Place the grapes in a leaky container and pour them into the wine jar when the surface is clear.

Step 4: Choose a container
The wine jar can be a ceramic jar or a glass bottle, but plastic containers are not recommended because they can react with alcohol and produce some toxic substances that are harmful to human health.

Step 5: Squeeze the grapes and put the wine into the container
After washing your hands, squeeze the grapes directly. To do this, grab a handful of grapes, hold them tightly, and put them into the wine container, then put sugar on top of the grapes. The ratio of grapes to sugar is 10:3, which means that you put 3 pounds of sugar on 10 pounds of grapes (if you don’t like sweetness, you can put 2 pounds of sugar, but you can’t do without it because sugar is an important factor in the fermentation of grapes).

Step 6: Seal and preserve
Seal the wine jar (leave a third of the jar reserved). If it is a ceramic jar, you can go to a small store where you buy rice wine and order clay, add water and put a seal on it. Once sealed, keep the bottle in a cool place. Don’t open the lid during the day.

When the weather is hot, the grapes take about 20 days to a month to ferment. Nowadays, it takes about 40 days to make wine during the season. After opening, remove the skins from the grapes and strain them. You can then drink the wine as is.

Please note that if you prefer the wine, you can simply postpone the opening time. Once opened, don’t forget to cover the tank each time you spoon out the wine to prevent it from evaporating.
