Cider contains the minerals boron and manganese, which can strengthen bones. A U.S. study found that boron significantly increased the concentration of estrogen and other compounds in the blood, thus effectively preventing calcium loss. Medical experts believe that if menopausal women absorb 3 grams of boron per day, their calcium loss rate can be reduced by 46%. Drinking more cider for menopausal women is beneficial for calcium absorption and osteoporosis prevention.

Steps to make apple cider
1. Wash the apples and dry the skin first.
2. Peel the apples with a peeler, layer by layer, so that the apples can fully develop their flavor. Don’t put the remaining apple cores in.
3. Place the peeled apples in a thin, airtight, acid-resistant 2L jar.
4. Pour one layer of apples, one layer of icing sugar and the last layer of icing sugar into the box and press on top of the apples to avoid oxidation and discoloration.
5. Cut all the apples and put them into the white wine. Shake the box to coat each apple with as much white wine as possible. Remove after a week and drink after a week.
