Plum wine has become a healthy drink for Japanese families, and drinking a little every day helps to eliminate fatigue.

The popularity of plum wine is not only due to its delicious taste, but also because it is considered a healthy drink by many people who have developed a habit of drinking plum wine. The nutritional components of plums (such as malic and bitter acids) are dissolved in the sake during the fermentation process, making plum wine a healthy drink and medicine for Japanese families. Drinking a little plum wine every day can help eliminate fatigue and regulate the stomach and intestines. Constipation can also be treated by drinking plum wine to improve blood flow and absorption in the gastrointestinal tract.

Three years ago, I occasionally tasted plum wine. The sweet, sour and clear taste suddenly awakened my happy taste buds. After much exploration and learning, I decided to make my own plum wine. Every year at the end of May, red and green plums are available. I carefully seal my plum wine and wait for time to settle in anticipation of a delicious plum wine. This is the third year of making plum wine. Every year, I can’t keep up with the next year’s sake. Because it is so good to drink and share with friends, it has disappeared. We are not wine fans. Let’s have a drink!
