2、The amount of residual sugar in red wine is between 4g/l and 12g/l. This type of red wine is called semi-dry red wine. However, it should be noted that dry red wine and semi-dry red wine should also be classified according to the sugar to acid ratio.

3. When the residual sugar content in red wine is between 12g/l and 45g/l, the sweetness of the wine will be more pronounced. This kind of red wine is known as semi-sweet red wine.

4、When the residual sugar in red wine is greater than 45g/l, it is called sweet wine. For example, ice wine or expensive rotten red wine, they usually have the aroma of dried fruit and honey.
